DESCRIPTION:MEMORY CAFE\nEspecially for Early-Onset Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia\nCome connect with other caregivers and their care partners living with Alzheimer’s Disease and other forms of dementia for a light meal or snack and enjoy musical entertainment in a relaxing atmosphere. Our special café offers activities such as crafting\, gaming\, and music – all of which can help foster opportunities for reminiscing. The Y’s Memory Café is held in the Gagnon Teen and Community Center\, located in the lower level of Somerset Hills YMCA with easy access via elevator. \nTHIS MONTH: \nWHEN: May 28th 12 – 2 pm\nWHERE: Gagnon Teen and Community Center in Somerset Hills YMCA\nWHO: Those living with early-onset Alzheimer’s Disease and dementia as well as their caregivers\nCOST: FREE and open to the entire community (lunch is included) \nREGISTRATION REQUIRED: Advance registration is required for participants. We may be unknowingly leaving money on the table by not maximizing our returns. In this workshop\, you’ll learn how to unlock the power of your savings and make your money work harder for you. You’ll discover the importance of APY (Annual Percentage Yield) and how to shop around for the best rates. We’ll explore different types of savings accounts\, including high-yield savings accounts\, money market accounts\, and certificates of deposit (CDs)\, and help you choose the right account for your financial goals. You’ll also learn essential saving strategies\, such as setting financial goals\, automating savings\, and avoiding unnecessary expenses. We’ll discuss the pros and cons of traditional and online banks and provide tips for choosing a reliable financial institution.
