Greater Somerset County YMCA Celebrates Pride Month

Greater Somerset County YMCA is proudly celebrating Pride Month this June, an expression of the organization’s core commitment to fostering a safe, welcoming environment for all members of the community.

Throughout the month, Greater Somerset County YMCA branches will be hosting festive BBQs, a spirited Pride Parade, and LGBTQ+ and Allies Pride-Ful Connections, offering all individuals an opportunity to connect, share experiences, and build community in a supportive setting.

Pride Month Events:

  • Hillsborough YMCA – Join the Y and LGBTQ+ and Allies Pride-Ful Connections on June 12th at 4:00 PM to hear from members of the community on what Pride Month means to them. Listen to inspiring guest speakers, build your network, making connections as a mentee or a mentor, enjoy pizza and snacks, and more!
  • Princeton YMCA – Walk with the Y in Princeton’s Annual Pride Parade on June 14th at 11:00 AM, starting on Witherspoon Street.  Find the Y’s table with tie-dye pocket squares, program promotions, and giveaways!
  • Bridgewater & Somerville YMCAs – Join the Y for a Pride BBQ on June 26th at 6:00 PM, featuring food and a fun arts and crafts activity.
  • Somerset Hills YMCA – Celebrate at the Y’s 4th Annual Pride BBQ on June 26th at 6:00 PM, featuring music, arts and crafts, yard games, and fun for all.
