About Plainfield YMCA

Plainfield YMCA is a Y beyond walls serving the Plainfield community. Our Y offers on-site school age child care programs for all elementary schools within the Plainfield Public Schools district. We also provide a partial day Summer Learning Academy wrap-around camp and a full-day multi-activity day camp when summer learning is not in session. Our administrative office is at 950 Park Avenue.

SUMMER CAMP

Welcome to Plainfield YMCA’s Camp RISE

Get ready to enjoy the familiar, fun, and exciting summer day camp experience you’ve come to expect from the Y, including:

  • A 8-week program that runs 5 days per week, Monday, June 30th through Friday, August 22nd
  • For campers entering Kindergarten – 5th grade in September
  • Regular camp hours: 8:00am-5:00pm
  • Camp location: Plainfield Academy for the Arts and Advanced Studies, 1700 West Front St. Plainfield, NJ 07063 (weeks 1-6)
  • Camp Location: DuCret Center of Arts, 1030 Central Ave, Plainfield, NJ 07060 (weeks 7 & 8)

SUMMER LEARNING ACADEMY WRAP-AROUND CAMP

  • Plainfield YMCA’s wrap-around summer day camp is for campers entering grades K-5 in September at all Plainfield School District elementary schools
  • Monday through Thursday, our traditional multi-activity camp winds up when the district’s Summer Learning Academy winds down. Fridays are a full-day camp schedule.

  • Plainfield YMCA’s all-day multi-activity day camp program is for campers entering grades K-5 in September

KIDS DAY OUT

School’s Out, But The Y Is Always In!

When school is out or closed for holiday breaks, we have you covered with full-day care in a safe, supervised environment where kids can have fun while school is out of session.

(Non-School Vacation Day Care)

Our vacation child care program is offered for children in grades K-8 from 7:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. daily. Care is offered according to the school calendar, excluding holidays.
